Posters, organised as Kiln

For this project Kiln, operating somewhere between blogger and curator, have invited contemporary graphic designers from a number of countries to contribute existing works. All of the works in Posters were first encountered on the Internet. The Internet offers us a platform in which physical things are virtualised and subsequently universally available. The show Posters, taking its inspiration from blogging culture, aims to re- contextualise the digital image through bringing the virtual into physical form. Shown as material prints the functions of the presented images have been exchanged for something new, inviting a re-consideration of their value as design.
